The next thing he knew, he woke up on the paramedics’ stretcher — but only after a group of quick-thinking players used an automated external defibrillator (AED) to restore his heart’s normal rhythm.
Howard Snitzer, a 54-year-old resident of Goodhue MN, is alive and well thanks to the heroic efforts of several town members, who chose not to give up on him. He had no pulse for more than 90 minutes.
